This is a turning point for America. On 9-10-25, we witnessed the assassination of an innocent man.
I know that my content is generally unrelated to news and culture, but I couldn’t bring myself to post my normal content until I say something. Too many of us are silent and act like everything is fine, but I can’t do that anymore. There comes a time when things need to be spoken about.
People also don’t want to post about this because they fear upsetting and losing part of their audience or even revenue. If someone is upset with me for speaking out against violence, or if they find joy in an innocent person’s public death, then I hope they unfollow me immediately.
We Need to Come Together As Americans
We should all be allowed to have our own thoughts and opinions, without our lives being in danger. We need to come together as Americans – regardless of any political affiliation.
Charlie Kirk’s Example
Charlie was passionate about creating dialogue, sharing his beliefs with others, while reaching and inspiring young people. So many of today’s youth are misunderstood and written off. He took the time to know them and connect. If you disagreed with him, that’s fine – that’s what he was there for: to talk to you about it. He was a highly intelligent young man who accomplished more in his short life than most of us can even fathom.
He drew in massive crowds of people who supported him, as well as many who did not. I assume they found it refreshing to have someone with a different perspective, willing to debate them on their beliefs. Many of them attend colleges that teach only one side and don’t foster healthy open and honest debate with those who have differing thoughts and opinions.
Mainstream Media’s Dangerous Conditioning
Many of you know that if a child is raised with verbally abusive parents who repeatedly tell them certain lies about themself, they will learn to believe it and those words will become true to them. The same type of conditioning has led to large groups of people holding beliefs that aren’t true, and causing them to become highly angry and paranoid.
Some people will tell you not to worry – that those who are calling people a nazi fascist are just the fringe. But, is that really the case? When all of the news outlets are spreading the same narrative, fueling hate – look at the rotten fruit it’s producing. This level of brainwashing puts innocent people in danger as many people feel justified in using violence against them.
Coordinated Effort to Divide the Nation
I am happy that mainstream news media are on their way out. I wish it would happen quickly because I am sick of the dangerous propaganda. I am for free speech, but most mainstream media outlets have a coordinated effort put forth to create chaos, push their narrative, brainwash the people, and keep them blind to the truth and the reality of life. If all you focus on and talk about is outrage and the news, it will eventually shape who you are.
I personally don’t care if your beliefs are different from my own, and I’m certainly not angry about it. Life is too short to get that wound up over someone else’s life. If you are stewing over the news, over politics, over those who you deem your enemy – you need to wake up. The media is sowing division for profit and views.
Experiences that Opened My Eyes
I recently went on an overseas trip to Thailand and I met all kinds of people who freely opened up to me. Despite that some of them were Americans themselves, when they learned I was from the states, they couldn’t hold back their rage and anger. They ranted on and on and on about Trump – about how he is a fascist dictator, a nazi, the next Hitler. Even an intelligent, mentally stable non-Trump supporter would agree that those statements are not only untrue, but sound off-the-wall strange.
On my trip, one 80-year old man at my hotel spent every morning ranting angrily about Trump – and he is one who called him a nazi. This man was from Germany. The vast majority of people I met on that trip were just like this man. Even if they dislike the President, they can see that he hasn’t harmed them in any way comparable to Hitler. And, the President already served a term and nothing terrible happened to them from that time.
Wake-up Call
Many of you have had similar experiences at your workplace or with family and friends. We’ve all heard these names being called, and many of us assumed that they no longer held a real meaning. For example: If mass numbers of decent people are being called a nazi, obviously that word has lost its meaning and it’s just a form of an insult. That’s what I thought.
But I was wrong. This week showed me that many people who throw around words like fascist or nazi actually believe it. That’s what’s scary. I always figured it was just an insult used regularly, but for many of them it’s real. And if they believe it, then of course they’d also feel justified in being hateful, violent, or even worse.
How Can We Fix This?
I wish people could be more kind to one another and remember that we’re all humans, all Americans. People need an awakening. They need to reconnect with reality. To truly change, they need an open-mind and the ability to find the truth at the source, instead of listening to rumors or what others tell you to think or believe. I think a big part of the problem is political indoctrination that occurs in colleges, in the media and even in grade school. This has to stop now.
One other big issue with our culture and society is that we’ve lost God. We’ve lost church and community too – but most importantly, we’ve lost God. Many people just don’t care – and many people are medicating their way through life – in addition to using social media or other substances to distract them as much as possible. There are so many deep issues within our society that need to change, if anything is ever going to improve.
Sickening Reactions
Although there are many wonderful, kind and caring people in our world – there have also been some sickening and heartbreaking reactions to Charlie’s death. I just watched a video where nearly all the comments were happy about his death and those commenting truly believed he was pure evil and deserved it. I can’t put into words how disturbing these types of comments are. The creator also encouraged more of it by hearting and loving the comments. Even if someone says something that is highly offensive to me, I would never wish any harm upon them. These commenters seem to be validating each other and feeding off of their shared rage while dehumanizing others. This dehumanization has led to horrible tragedies in the world. I only wish this was an isolated incident – but it’s happening a lot right now.
What We Need Now
I don’t think we can save our nation unless all of the issues are addressed head-on. I know we also need to preserve free speech. I think one of the most important things is to have open dialogue, allowing other people to speak out, even if you disagree with them. No violence should ever be tolerated. I hope our laws become stricter and less tolerant of the mayhem, lawlessness and violence that is plaguing our nation right now. Right before his death, Charlie mentioned how incredibly safe it was for him in South Korea and in Japan. There are a handful of countries that we can look to and learn from. They have law and they have order, which we are lacking here.
The last thing I want to say about Charlie Kirk was that he was a man of God and he may have been the only example for some of these young people. He was patient with them, he was kind to those who were rude to him, & he shared his beliefs honestly and openly. He lost his life for it. And, I believe if we don’t change things now, we’ll lose our country.
Beautiful post and hopefully things will change in this country and Turning Point will continue to grow to millions.
you have so many people with you on this the far left Marxism is causing too much unnecessary trouble
