You're so welcome, Nina! Thank you for the comments. I will keep you posted on progress. I understand about under eye issues being a big problem. I think that is great you're doing chemical peels too. I have been quite sporadic lately with them and want to start keeping track of what I'm doing - even writing it down since I'm trying to monitor things for this site. I really hope things improve!

Thank you for your reply and your great tips. I will certainly try out the supplements as on the one hand, puffiness under my eyes is really a big issue for me and on the other hand it sounds good to feel better overall as you mentioned. I’m already sporadically doing chemicals peelings but now after reading your article and watching your video about that, I’m convinced that I should definitely be doing this on a regular basis.
Thank you so much for sharing! I’m looking forward to your updates about microneedeling and especially about the possible improvements under the eyes :)
Take care!

Hi Nina! Thanks for the comment! Great question about the under eyes. I am not sure yet if my under eyes are improving. I will know more soon once I can compare more photos - the changes are sometimes subtle at first. :) Interesting how you mentioned that that dermatologist from an article stated 1 time a year would be enough for improvement. That kind of doesn't surprise me. I also read that you may see some (some people see none at first) improvement in the weeks after but much more improvement many many months later. I know I have had major improvement under my eyes since I started doing face peels. I post closeups of that in another post here: https://lifeanddiy.com/real-results-from-at-home-chemical-peels-5-years-later-reverse-aging/ but I mostly attribute it to peels. I did microneedling sporadically - not often and it was with a roller so it was very light, compared to the needling pen I have now used two times. So...currently, I haven't noticed anything major with the under eyes. It is hard to see the changes sometimes, but that's why I am trying to take so many photos. Hopefully I will be able to tell a little better in a couple of weeks when I take more photos and compare them. I will do another update. One thing I do also that might help with overall puffiness is I take Tumeric/Curcumin as a supplement. I have also been taking Astaxanthin - they are both great at reducing inflammation overall and have strong antioxidant properties.I also feel better overall when taking them - and less pain, which used to be severe in my shoulder. I think it may help with the inflammation issues. The astaxanthin, I just realized, was in numerous studies which stated it helped improve elasticity and has some other benefits for the skin. Thank you again for the comment. If you ever have more questions, please ask! Take care!

Hi there!
I was just wondering if your under eye area might have already improved a little?
My problem area is under the eyes too. I start getting fine lines there, it might come from always having puffy eyes too. So I would be really interested if you might have noticed an improvement there?
How often do you repeat the treatment? I heard people saying they are doing it every 4 to 6 weeks but I read an article of a dermatoligist saying that once a year is enough.
What do you think about that?
Thank you for sharing your experiences!

All the best
