Hey Martin - thanks so much for the comment. I will share more about this in upcoming videos as I want to get more into detail about it. So why are you interested in moving from the UK to here? Sorry if I'm wrong, but to me, it looks pretty rough in the UK now. Things are changing so quickly. Sometimes a big move is just what someone needs.

Hey Holly, have been watching your videos for a while - mostly for the health related content as it resonates with my experiences in many ways. Saw your video about moving to Japan as I was thinking about moving from UK to US. Can certainly related to feeling "stuck", though maybe for different reasons, nevertheless I also feel like I need to move on. Would love to see a video about what is it in US that does not work for you anymore or what in Japan you think would be better etc. I guess what I am trying to say, looking at US as a new start or a better opportunity for myself, I wonder why people are leaving. I guess we all think the grass is greener on the other side, but it would be great to hear your thoughts.
All the best!

In reply to <a href="https://lifeanddiy.com/starting-over-any-age/#comment-332">Deb Lora</a>.

Deb, thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate your insights. I completely agree about not liking city life. I feel the same way! It sounds really beautiful where you live with your husband. I think living in a remote area can be amazing with the right person and circumstances and time of life. I really appreciate the time I've had here, but I do think it's time for me to move on to other things. I plan to live in Northern Japan and although it's quite rural for Japanese people, to me it will be a big city compared to the super tiny population where I'm at now. I am excited about it though. Thank you for being so supportive. It means a lot!

Hi Holly, I'm sure you've prayed about this and done a lot of soul searching. Yeah, you're so young and being isolated the way you are can be a blessing but at the same time a curse. I'm excited for you and your son. I live in a remote area of Arizona, it is lonely but I'm married and enjoy this quiet life. My husband and I would not like city life. We lived in California Nat'l Parks for many years. My husband built trails in the back country and I worked for the concessionaire. During the Winter was the best time because all the tourists had gone home.GOD put us just where we needed to be away from city life and drama. You have so much more to experience. Japan is such a beautiful country and the people are gentle and respectful. I think you'll fit right in, you seem very kind and gentle. Your son will be able to explore a new culture. I bet he's excited! I look forward to going along with you on your YT channel. Happy New Year, praying for you. Deb Lora
