Thanks, Ralph. Yes, it is a big shocker for people to see what is going on. I know you aren't the only one who is really disappointed. There are meetings coming up and we'll know more later in the month and we might get a little update next week.

Thanks for the feedback, Holly. I agree that the FDA in it's current form, with its current methods of functioning, is a huge problem. FDA pretty much acts as a brake on all health related products. It does in fact enable a protected cartel of drug companies to operate in a market that is free of any competition. What is also clear to me, after reading this and other articles on the NMN ban, is that Sinclair must have knowingly petitioned the FDA to have NMN removed from the market as a supplement
Doing so, ensures he can, through his company Metro Int. Biotech, introduce a new drug to the market, based on NMN, all the while being protected from competition by the FDA. After all those years of him spinning tales of helping humanity live longer and fuller lives, Sinclair has made the conscious choice to cash in personally, at humanities expense. Not that it matters in the big picture, and not that i wont get over it, but I feel personally betrayed by this action of Sinclair's, and other actions the FDA has taken.

I'll plan on purchasing NR in the future. Hope Sinclair doesn't start investigating Vitamin C. We won't be able to get any more oranges! ;)

Thanks for the comment, Ralph. I know people are so surprised by what's going on. I've seen some videos where people are saying that others are wrongfully putting the blame on Sinclair. But, many people have turned on him because of this. I like that he has brought so much attention to the field of longevity and to certain supplements - especially NMN. Besides his involvement, I think an even bigger issue is that the FDA approved it as a dietary supplement and then said it is not one anymore because of Metrobiotech. I also think his MIB-626 is not the same as normal NMN and he should get that investigated as a drug, and Beta NMN should remain as a supplement. I hope we find out more details on the situation soon.

Excellent reporting on this matter. I admired Sinclair and used resveratrol and currently have used NMN for the last 5 years. Sinclair is the very person that popularized both of these supplements. Now he's turned Pharma Bro aka Martin Shkreli, to make boatloads of cash at the expense of what, millions? Millions of people in the USA now have their access cut off, to a supplement they've bought legally for the last decade, all as a direct result of Sinclair's actions. Pharma Bro for sure.
