Sorry about Youtube. I don’t know why that happens sometimes. That makes sense about your experience with the M8 seller. It does seem that Ekai is “the manufacturer” of these products and it also seems that their specific products will be the ones approved for prescription use…though I don’t know all the details yet. It’s weird that no one else is talking about what’s going on. Many of the sellers are based in China and I wonder if the FDA has been unable to reach some of them. I was really involved with the FDA’s attempts to ban NMN as I worked for a company selling it and had to sit in on these FDA related meetings. It was a very different from what’s going on here with all these Chinese companies. The different NMN companies from the U.S., U.K., etc. were all banning together to fight them. I have a feeling whatever is going on here will be quiet and maybe quicker. I know that some of the resellers on Alibaba are totally unaware of it, based on our conversations.

I do think the cartridge ban will be permanent, but who knows. I really hope it does not happen to you too and that it is only a U.S. issue. Thanks for mentioning Import Yeti! I know I’ve been on that site years ago – super useful. That’s good to know about Alibaba.

​Great that you could confirm that Ekai was the manufacturer of Dr Pen.

Before i ordered my M8 i emailed them and asked if it was Ekais M8 that was sold on Ali Express but i didn’t get at straight answer from them and i think that was because they sell to other companies that say that they are the original Dr Pen and Ekai is ok with that and just want to manufacture and sell as much as possible.
I have also seen pens that look exactly like a Dr Pen but with another brand name on so i think they also sell white labeling pens.

 Troublesome with the ban of cartridges and hope it will not be permanent. But you are well stocked now with 50 cartridges, that should last you 16-17 years 🙂
I hope the ban won’t come to Sweden/Europe but you never know i have 21 myself so it will last a while i also keep the used one just in case.

If you want to see were a US company import there products from and also from which company you can look at Import Yeti and see that information. 
That way you can for example see from which company Dr.pen USA buys there pens from but you have to know what the name of the company are that owns Dr.pen USA.

That way you can also buy many products straight from the manufacturer through Alibaba i did that when i bought a red light panel and a mask, i think the price with tax was 40-50% compared with the US brand seller.
