Hi Nicole,
I forgot I had this video on here! I would definitely recommend a straight razor if you are incredibly careful. The video I posted was one of the first ones I ever posted to this channel and I was being overly cautious with not recommending it. I definitely would recommend it for those who want amazing results and for those who understand you can cut yourself pretty easily. The one I was using in the video, it was not high quality though. I am going to do some browsing on amazon for a high-quality version. So, if super careful – I definitely recommend it!

I used to pay for dermaplanning and then decided to try the facial razors. They do an ok job, obviously not as well as someone else doing it with a scalpel, but I dont love how wasteful they are. I’m looking into using a straight razor as the blades are so much more economical and eco friendly. Do you not recommend the straight razor over all, or just not for those just trying out dernaplanning.
