Hi Holly, thank you so much for getting back to me, that means so much!! I understand, I was wondering about that, about how the two would interact( the numbing cream and the peel itself). I just wanna say I admire what you do and your reviews and youtube videos, you are always so professional about it and thorough and informed and informative, you are an inspiration for me. I started looking into microneedling and tca peels thanks to you, and I am forever grateful for it!! You gave me courage to look into this! I just received my Dr Pen A6 and I’ll be doing the first microneedling session soon. I believe I will wait about a month after that and then use the tca peel as well, I do not want to do too many things at once, as I started Tretinoin fairly recently as well. Alina, you are so welcome! I totally understand the fears. I have had them myself but now I am just mostly concerned about the little details and being safe, making sure the gauze is not overly saturated, etc. About the numbing cream – I did not use one. I didn’t even realize Platinum skincare advised to do that. I have heard experts say they don’t recommend it, but I will look into that more. I think it is up to the person. I could totally understand why someone would want to use it though, since the peel is pretty painful. Are you planning to do a TCA peel pretty soon?
